Future’s Monster Mixtape Now Available on Streaming Services: Listen
Future is celebrating the five-year anniversary of his beloved Monster mixtape by dropping it on streaming services everywhere.
On Monday (Oct. 28), Future's Monster has appeared on streaming services across the board. The mixtape, which is executively produced by Metro Boomin, originally dropped back in 2014 and features hits like "Codeine Crazy," "My Savages" and "Fuck Up Some Commas."
Since the song became the first single for his 2015 album DS2, "Fuck Up Some Commas" is not included in the streaming service version. The original intro and his "Abu's Boomin" skit is also not included in the new version of Monster. Once the project hit DSPs, Future addressed his fans who've been riding with him since day one and even saluted his late engineer Seth Firkins.
"I’ve always spoke through my music and the people championed my trials and tribulations whole heartedly with no regards. Remember #MONSTER 5years later this classic is available on all platforms,Thanks for the love #RIPSETH ❤️," Future wrote in an Instagram post.
The re-release of Monster comes a couple of months after Future teased another project that's on the horizon. Back in August, Future Hendrix uploaded a video on his Instagram Story that contains a snippet of a song that may appear on the sequel to What a Time to Be Alive. The snippet only previews a brief portion of Drake's vocals and a millisecond of Future's verse, but it was enough to get fans hype for their next joint project.
