Hip-Hop’s Favorite Boxer Floyd Mayweather Is Accused Of Choking His Ex-Girlfriend
When it rains, it pours. Besides being an explosive Welterweight/Junior Middleweight champion, it appears that Floyd Mayweather is as fiery outside of the ring as he is in it, especially towards women. After sparring with his former buddy 50 Cent for the past couple of weeks on social media, the embattled Floyd has been combating a slew of allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Shantel Jackson. According to the DailyMail, it appears as if things are only getting worse for Money Mayweather. The boxer was slapped with a handful of charges ranging from battery, assault, defamation, invasion of privacy, false imprisonment, harassment and infliction of emotional distress.
This comes at a terrible time for the boxer who is preparing for his bout with Marcos Maidana this weekend in Vegas. Now, Mayweather will be facing trial by jury in a civil trial filed by his ex-fiance.
Last week, Jackson held a press conference stating that she was preparing to sue Floyd, claiming that the boxer had previously abused her and invaded her privacy by posting her ultrasound on online. The rapper continued to berate her online by announcing their break-up, because she opted to abort their twin babies. In addition, she claimed Floyd twisted her arm and choked her in a heated altercation. To make things even worse, Floyd threatened to leak naked photos of her that he took while she was sleeping on the web.
After their eight year relationship crumbled, the model moved on to Nelly, which didn't sit too well with the boxer. Hopefully, this doesn't throw Floyd off his A game for his upcoming fight.
