Famous Dex Gets His Game On in New “Japan” Video
Famous Dex is back with the new music video for his latest single "Japan," from his debut album Dex Meets Dexter.
Following the release of the songs "Pick It Up" featuring A$AP Rocky and "In the Bank" with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Dex offers up the colorful video for his latest J Gramm-produced track.
The bubbly song features a just as fun video to boot. Dex turns up with some beautiful Asian women in multiple scenes of the visual giving credence to the song's title. "Baby girl, what you doing, where your mans? (where your)/I just popped a Xan, fifty thousand in Japan (50,000 in Japan)." he raps on the chorus. "I ain't doin' no playin', these red bottoms, not no Vans/And she tellin' all her friends, I might put 'em on the Gram, aye (yeah, Dexter).
Elsewhere, he steps in a Japanese-style video game as anime and cartoon graphics buzz by.
Dex first announced his debut album exactly a year ago, stating the project would drop in June 2017. Obviously, that date came and went without the album dropping. Since then, he's breathed new life into the LP and promoted the release with the aforementioned collabs. Now, with new momentum, the Rich Forever artist has a new release date. Dex Meets Dexter is available everywhere on April 6. It will be his first project since the 2016 mixtape Dexter the Robot.
