Fabolous, ‘B.A.S. (Freestyle)’

Other than a few remixes Fabolous has been pretty quiet since the Christmas Day release of his latest LP, The Young OG Project. Today, he gives fans another small taste of something new with 'B.A.S. (Freestyle).'

Tapping Dr. Dre’s ‘B*tches Ain’t Shit‘ instrumental from the legendary producer's classic The Chronic album - and even using the background for the LP's album cover - Loso takes us on a ride through the late 90s when he was killing DJ Clue? tapes. "This makes me feel like 98. You know what I used to do in 98, right." Fab boasts when the beat drops. The quick-witted wordsmith then goes in on the track with slick punch lines flanked by Clue? drops, just like the Fabolous Sport days.

The Brooklyn MC should be dropping his seventh studio LP Loso's Way 2: Rise to Power, some time this year.
