Ex-Dr. Dre Associate, Sam Sneed, Preps Debut

Former Dr. Dre protégé and Death Row records artist Sam Sneed will finally be releasing his long delayed debut album, Street Scholarz early next year, through E1 Entertainment.

Sneed is best known for his work with Dre, Jay-Z, C-N-N and Scarface, among others. Along with appearing on Snoop Dogg’s classic album, Doggy Style, the West Coast artist also co-producing “Natural Born Killaz,” with Dr. Dre.

Street Scholarz, which will hit stores on January 25, will feature appearances from Dr. Dre, J. Flexx, and Nu Starz Entertainment, a new group that Sneed is currently working. —Amber McKynzie
