Eminem is taking his music to new heights—literally. The veteran MC stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday (Oct. 16) and performed his new song "Venom" from the top of the Empire State Building.

During his appearance on the late-night talk show, the Detroit veteran brought the dark visual for “Venom” to life, performing the Kamikaze track from atop the iconic New York skyscraper at nighttime.

During the eight-minute exclusive performance, which was presented by Google Pixel 3, the camera follows the 45-year-old as he enters the building, going on to find a hanging microphone conveniently located in the elevator.

As Eminem rides to the top, he runs through the track, eventually running into some technical difficulties with his mic. Fortunately, Kimmel’s beloved security guard, comedian Guillermo Rodriguez, comes to the rescue, and the two hug it out after lightheartedly solving the issue and continuing the tour of the building.

Last week (Oct. 12), the trailer for Bodied, an upcoming battle rap movie produced by Eminem, aired, further showcasing how the OG rapper is eager to continue expanding his legacy to the entertainment and film industry.
