Will Session connects with Elzhi for "Knowledge of 12th," their first collaboration between them since their fantastic mixtape, Elmatic that dropped in 2011.

On "Knowledge of 12th," the former Slum Village member sounds amazing over funky production from Sessions. The record is off of their new album Deluxe and provides the historic history of the streets of Detroit. Elzhi plays wonderfully well as the narrator.

"You feel the chill of your body/Your mommy telling you to get down/Shot bustin' out the window of a Monte Carlo/They found Marlo lying dea with his Marlboro/Half lit by some half wit who lost his marbles/Or was it retaliation," he Elzhi.

The first part of the song features Elzhi completely ripping his extended verse while the latter half of the record is an instrumental edit that takes you deeper into their production style. The two legends work wonderfully together and "Knowledge of 12th" is an excellent taste of what's to come on Deluxe, which drops April 21.

We spoke to Elzhi last year about what he was up to during his hiatus and his battle with depression. Listen to "Knowledge of 12th" below.
