Drake is diving into some heavy lawsuit action, as he is reportedly suing a company after they used his photo in an unauthorized manner on their website. The Hollywood Reporter shared details of the lawsuit yesterday (May 16) that accuses Hebrew Hustle of using the Toronto rapper's name and his likeness on their website without permission or a license.

Drake is reportedly suing for false endorsement, violation of publicity rights and unfair competition.

Hustle is the same company that previously sued Drizzy for copyright infringement over the use of "Jimmy Smith Rap" in his "Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2" record with Jay-Z. The "Nice For What" hitmaker is filing a countersuit after the company posted his photo to their site and claimed that founder Stephen Hacker "played a heavy hand with his clients in the creation of hit songs for the likes of Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and others" in his bio on the site.

Previously, the original lawsuit over the use of "Jimmy Smith Rap" was beat by Drake and his team on "fair-use" grounds. After Hacker and his team used the photo along with the questionable bio statement, Drizzy believes that they are falsely implying that he worked with the hip-hop superstar on music, which he has discredited.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III agrees that the use of Drake's name and image is misleading for site visitors, as it appears that the More Life entertainer is endorsing the company. Pauley wants to leave the case in the hands of a jury to decide to see if there were any monetary results from the company using Drake's image.

So far, Drake's motion for summary judgment has been denied by Pauley due to him failing to provide proper documents that prove his permanent residence in California and not Canada. The case is stepping toward trial, but we will have to wait and see if it makes it in front of a jury.

We will keep you updated on Drake's lawsuit as details become available.
