Drake, Stormzy and More Nominated for 2018 BRIT Awards

The 2018 BRIT Awards take place next month in the U.K., and there are a number of hip-hop artists up for awards, as usual.

The nominations were recently announced and Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Quavo, Childish Gambino and DJ Khaled have all received noms.

On the grime side of things, Stormzy, J Hus and Stefflon Don are in the mix to receive trophies. Both Stormzy and Steff recently won big at the MOBO Awards.

Before the awards ceremony kicks off next month, two awards were already given to deserving artists. Jorja Smith earned the Critics' Choice while Steve Mac scored British Producer of the Year.

In the past, the BRIT Awards have featured plenty of U.S. flair. In 2015, Kanye West put on an epic performance of his then new single, "All Day." The following year, Drake and Rihanna performed together, as well as The Weeknd.

On the award side, last year, Drake won the award for Best International Male Solo Artist, and A Tribe Called Quest nabbed the award for Best International Group.

The 2018 BRIT Awards go down at the O2 Arena in London on Feb. 21.
