Chaos erupted in the moments following a bombing just outside Ariana Grande's concert at Britain's Manchester Arena last night (May 22). 22 people have been reported dead, among them, children. 59 more were reported injured.

In the aftermath of the tragic attacks, which an Islamic State group has reportedly taken credit for, people from all areas of hip-hop have offered their condolences to those personally affected by the explosions. One of the first was Drake, who recently ended his Boy Meets World tour in Europe.

"We just left from touring in Europe and this was such a real fear we discussed frequently. I was crushed today to hear it became a reality," reads the Toronto rapper's caption for a post that included a tied ribbon meant to symbolize solidarity. "My condolences to all of the families affected and we will be praying for all of Manchester. Also I am praying on peace of mind for Ariana. 😢"

Also extending their sympathy to those affected by the attack was Nicki Minaj, who tweeted, "My heart hurts for my sister, Ariana & every family affected by this tragic event in the U.K. Innocent lives lost. I'm so sorry to hear this."

Today, XXL takes a look at how other tenants of the hip-hop community responded to the tragic attack, while also offering our own condolences to everyone affected by the explosion.
