Drake is more than overjoyed to hear about Cyntoia Brown's clemency.

On Monday night (Jan. 7), the Scorpion MC hit up his Instagram story to express how hyped he was to read the good news about Brown, who was in prison for killing the man who allegedly solicited her for sex and threatened her life when she was 16. Champagne Papi states that he had previously searched for ways to help the now-30-year-old woman, but was extremely relieved when he found out she will be released.

"This makes me so happy," Drake began. "I remember me and @futuretheprince getting on the phones calling everyone to see if there was anything we could do about this situation and now Cyntoia was finally granted clemency!"

Drake joins Meek Mill, T.I., Tony Yayo and others who've voiced their opinions about the case. After her hearing, Brown released a statement thanking Gov. Haslam and her supporters. Even though she'll be on parole for 10 years, the imprisoned victim of sex trafficking is more than grateful for her release.

“Thank you, Governor Haslam, for your act of mercy in giving me a second chance. I will do everything I can to justify your faith in me," stated Brown, who will be commuted to parole for 10 years.
