Another Drake Billboard Appears in Los Angeles
Drake fans likely aren't looking for revenge this summer sixteen, but rather the rapper's next sign as billboards continue to pop up in Los Angeles with a variety of messages. Late last week, a billboard was spotted congratulating Rihanna on her MTV Video Vanguard Award "from Drake and everybody at OVO," and over the weekend a sign teasing that potential Drake and Kanye collaborative project appeared in L.A., declaring "calabasas is the new abu dhabi."
Then there's the one that reads "Views was actually pretty good," and Drizzy isn't stopping there, with the below tweet capturing his latest, a multi-colored billboard that reads "Top 5" a popular self-appointment that Drake uses on "Grammys." While Drake is still in the midst of his Summer Sixteen tour, which stops in Miami today and tomorrow, the newly launched marketing campaign, which seemed at first to simply be an expensive medium for his thoughts, now seems to be something more.
Over the summer, Drake's Views made some serious Billboard impact, sitting atop the Album 200 chart for 12 nonconsecutive weeks. Could it be then, that Drizzy is taking his Billboard dominance literally, purchasing a new canvas for every week he led the pack? If that were the case, he's got a ways to go, with the current tally at four. Between these billboards and the star power of his tour guests, Drake is dominating the conversation without dropping any music. Check his latest just below.
