Drake is possibly gearing up to rock the mic at his own series of headlining shows in Sin City. He hinted as much in a show he performed at the Wynn Thursday night (Jan. 10).

“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff),” he said during a 30-minute foray of his richly streamed music at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”

According to Las Vegas Review-Journal's sources, XS Nightclub has secured a deal for the OVO leader to perform at their venue this year. Wynn Las Vegas is expected to formally announce Drake's residency soon.

As we mentioned up top, Drake performed at the XS Nightclub last week. Predictably, he sold out the venue, which fits 1,600 people inside the club and another 3,200 patrons on the outdoor pool area. The 32-year-old artist reportedly received a $2 million paycheck for his 30-minute appearance. He performed a medley of his hits including his hit Scorpion single "In My Feelings."

At the end of his set, Drake reportedly told the crowd to raise their drinks in the air. "I want to look you each in the eye, I wish you all the happiness and health in the world in 2019."

Clearly, Drake is still winning in 2019.

Hopefully, Drake will be able to pop the cork of his new luxury champagne Mod Sélection, when everything is formally announced. Congrats to Drizzy!
