Don Q is back with a new music video and he’s teamed up with fellow Bronx artist A Boogie Wit da Hoodie. The New York rapper’s “Protect Ya Patek” video is directed by Gerard Victor and is featured on his recently released mixtape, Corner Stories Reloaded.

“Niggas talking about death on the net/But I don’t be checking for threats/Homie told me that he slept on the steps/So he had to dead the connect,” raps Don Q in the video, which features A Boogie and himself involved in a high-speed chase.

Along with A Boogie, Don Q's latest mixtape features a number of guest appearances, including verses from PnB Rock, Fabolous, Loso Loaded, Rowdy Rebel and Zoey Dollaz.

During an interview with XXL, the artist discussed his project and why he wanted to rap about his life growing up on the record.

“My first tape I didn’t really bring them to the corner, you know? I was really flashy; it was the time where I could talk my shit now. I ain’t really want to talk about the struggle,” he said. “I was happy at the time we live. I wanted to talk about live shit. But now I can sit down and think about what happened before I was live.”

Up next for Don Q, the rapper will continue touring for the month of September and can be seen at The Met in Providence, R.I. on Sept. 2.
