With summer around the corner, Dom Kennedy season is upon us. The OPM rapper decided to bless his fans with a new track on his SoundCloud page titled “Word Around Town.” The record is vintage Dom K., complete with a laid-back flow where all he does is spit game.

"Thirteen chains on my neck like I'm a Killa Cam/My face known in the city more than all the Rams/Four hundred thousand in your face nigga no advance/Fuck waiting on your approval I’ma feed the fam," he raps.

Things have been pretty busy for Dom. His last solo album was Los Angeles Is Not for Sale, Vol. 1The 15-song LP dropped last December and featured guest features from Troy Noka, Riko G4, Ricky Hill and P-Lo with production handled by Cardo, Polyester, J.LBS and more.

"Word Around Town” could be the first single off the sequel to Los Angeles Is Not for Sale but that's not confirmed yet. In the description for this song on SoundCloud, however, he does say the second volume of L.A. Is Not for Sale is on the way soon.

Last December, Dom Kennedy also dropped his Half a Mil joint EP with Hit-Boy, a five-song body of work with appearances from Pusha T, Quentin Miller and Gizzle. The duo released the second part of Half a Mil this past March with the only feature being B. Carr.
