DJ Infamous makes moves with the OGs and music with the young Gods. When he’s not on tour as Ludacris’ personal DJ, Inf is back in the ATL working on his new street LP, The Youngest In Charge.

“I’m gonna drop a mixtape first until I figure out where we gonna place this [official album] thing,” he recently told XXLMag.com. “The mixtape is called The Youngest in Charge and it’s a compilation of all the different kinds of records, everybody that’s moving right now. All the young cats, the new jacks. The Futures, the 2 Chainz, French Montanas, the Wales, the new generation of hip-hop. I feel like cats like me, DJ Scream, DJ Holiday, we’re the newer generation as far as this DJ thing, putting out records and things like that.

“My first single is called ‘Itchin’ featuring Future,” he added. “Its crazy in the streets. We leaked it a month ago. We kept it on Future’s mixtapes and let it bubble. Once it got to the points where the streets said ‘this is one of the hottest records,’ I was like its time to let everybody know it’s my single.”

“Itchin” is just a taste of what’s to come from Infamous’ album. He’s cooking up some other collaborations, he says.

“I got this record called ‘Girls Gone Wild,’ he said. “I got Ace Hood on there. I’m still waiting, I’m putting Wale on it. Waiting to get the verse back. It’s a summer time record. The ladies are gonna love it.  I got another smash, that I can’t reveal the full lineup because I’m waiting on a verse but the big homie, Ludacris is on it.”

Inf also said that former XXL Freshman Big K.R.I.T. will be on the album as well.—Shaheem Reid
