Colin Tilley has had a busy year. In just the past few months, the California-based music video director has been behind the lens for videos from Yo Gotti, DJ Khaled, Nelly and Sean Kingston, but despite his stacked resume, one of his most recent collaborations has got him truly excited. This week, he wrapped shooting on the video for Future's new single, "Honest." With the visuals set to drop the coming weeks, Tilley hopped on the phone with XXL to give us a sneak peak of what to expect from the video.

"The video is definitely something special. It's probably one of my favorite videos I've shot in a little while," Tilley said. "We tried something completely different and a completely new style of cinematography. It kind of feels like you're in a foreign country the whole time… like you're watching a fashion film in another country." Expounding on the technical side of the shoot, Tilley explained, "I used a couple of different formats, as far as 16mm film and older lenses to give it a really classic vibe. You really just get to see the real Future, which I'm excited about. You really get to know him as a person and as an artist, all through this video."

Stay tuned for more news about the video, which will likely drop before the end of the month.
