Diddy’s ‘Last Train to Paris’ Gets December Release Date

After multiple delays, Diddy’s Last Train to Paris will finally be released on December 14.

While calling in to speak with Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 yesterday (October 20), XXL’s June 2010 cover subject revealed that his first release since 2006’s Press Play will come just weeks before the New Year. The mogul’s latest single from the project, the Drake-assisted “Loving You No More,” peaked this week at No. 30 on the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart.

Diddy also talked about his relationship with Rick Ross, with whom he has released music and formed a group, known as the Bugatti Boyz. “We just cut a couple of records for fun,” he explained. “It was something that we doing for fun. We representing flyness; anti-ashy-ness; anti-hating-suckerism; and we like to spend money.”

He then went on to clear up rumors about his role in Nicki Minaj’s career, as reports had surfaced that he was her manager. “As the industry changes, you gotta change with the industry,” he said. “With the Nicki thing, [the situation] is something that even me and her have made sure that we haven’t defined…So I don’t go around saying I’m her manager or this or that,” he continued, before adding, “We work together in a certain kind of unofficial capacity.” —Adam Fleischer
