Desiigner has another platinum plaque to add to his collection. Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" single has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA just a little over a month after it went gold. The G.O.O.D. Music artist thanked his fans for all their support and help in getting him a second platinum record.

"Just Want To Say Thank You To All My Fans For Making This Happen," Desiigner wrote on Instagram. "❤️💯🔥 I Love All Of YALL! Stay Tuned In For What's Next🔥🔥 #LOD #TiimmyTurner #NewEnglish."

Def Jam Recordings also congratulated Desiigner on his accomplishment via social media. The iconic label shared the news via their Instagram account.

"Congrats to @lifeofdesiigner for his @riaa_awards Platinum Certification on "Timmy Turner" #LOD #RIAA," Def Jam wrote.

Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" became a viral sensation before it was even released. The Brooklyn rapper originally debuted the song as his 2016 XXL Freshman freestyle. That performance, which debuted in June 2016, has racked up well over 11 million views on its own.

Just a few weeks later, Desiigner dropped the official version of "Timmy Turner" produced by the legendary Mike Dean. While it did not take off quite like Desiigner's breakthrough hit "Panda," the single still performed very well.

"Timmy Turner" is technically the first single off Desiigner's debut album The Life of Desiigner. The young upstart's LP still does not have a release date, but it is expected to drop later this year.
