While Dave East might play dumb at times, he's sharp as a thumbtack. He keeps the new bangers rolling in, this time dropping the fresh track "Nothing Bout Nothin."

On the instrumental, producer Luca Vialli provides a powerful mixture of spacey chords and traps drums. In the chorus, the 2016 XXL Freshman laments about his ability to draw a blank when the time is right. "Police just hopped out, I don’t know nothin' bout nothin'/Homie got robbed on the block, I don’t know nothin' bout nothin'/Swiped for like fifteen Mollies,I don’t know nothin' bout nothin,'" he raps.

The Harlem MC continues to keep it street on the verses spitting, "Block instincts help me shake y'all feds/On 116th finna drop off meds/All I really wanna do is count more bread/Yeezy's same color as a moon rock/Mix the caviar with the moon rock/Pistol and the pills in my tube sockMy cousin went to Lakeview, he had to do shock."

The new track looks like it will appear on Dave's forthcoming project. He is currently prepping the release of his new mixtape Kairi Chanel. The project was originally scheduled to come out on July 22. It now looks like the tape will drop later on this summer.

Last week the Mass Appeal rapper dropped the track "Couple Reasons Why I'm Popular". A week before that, he released the banger "Percocets."
