Dave East is still popping pills. The Harlem rapper lets the whole world know it on the hook of his new single "Percocets" produced by Rico Suave. Lyrically, the Harlem rapper rhymes about just how well he's living and the loyal crew he's got with him.

"$50,000 cash, you ain't never seen it/I'm gon' make it happen if I ever dreamed it/My homies on go for whatever reason/I just fucked her once, she told me ain't never leaving/My Buchanan's scrambling when it's leather season/I just do this for the money, ain't no better reason/All my niggas riding if I ever need 'em/We ducking feds and tucking lead to give yo head a season/I just signed a deal that changed my fucking life/She just seen me once, I prolly fuck tonight/Even though I say my prayers I grip that rubber tight/Slow emotion, purple potion, double cup of ice/We be on some go and get that bag/Catch a body, never brag/Floating cocky in that Jag/Damn right, I'm in my bag/These niggas liked me on my last/Most likely cause they trash/You ain't seen this amount of cash," Dave East raps.

2016 has been an outstanding year for Dave East. The Mass Appeal artist was named to the 2016 XXL Freshman class. East expressed his gratitude for the honor during the Freshman roundtable interviews.

"Today has been dope, I ain’t going to front, it’s been long but I’m happy to be a part of it, meeting the artists that’s on [the cover],” East told XXL. "There’s a couple I already knew and even meeting the new ones. A few people music I wasn’t even familiar with but I’ve been hearing it today while we been in here."
