Danny Brown Shares a Snippet Off His ‘Atrocity Exhibition’ Album
Danny Brown gives fans a preview of his much anticipated Atrocity Exhibition album with a new snippet. The Detroit rapper shares 18 seconds of a track called "Pneumonia" which will appear on the LP. It may be a brief snippet, but any fan of Brown is sure to like what they are on this one.
Atrocity Exhibition will be Danny Brown's first album for Warp Records. The talented MC's last LP, Old, was released in 2013. In the years since, Brown has been steadily working on this new album.
"I wrote it for two years and I recorded it for a year," Brown told Sway in the Morning. "I recorded most of it in London with Paul White, who produced most of it, and then I played it for a lot of the homies. I’d be around A$AP Rocky or Schoolboy [Q]."
Danny Brown believes Atrocity Exhibition will be a career defining album. The "New Era" rhymer explained that all of his previous work has built up to what he will unleash on this LP.
"I feel like this is my career album," he said. "I built up everything I did for this album. This is full-fledged Danny Brown doing Danny Brown. Before then, you had to manipulate little things, dabble with certain sounds, but now I know what the Danny Brown sound is, so this album is that."
Danny Brown's album does not have a release date yet, but fans should expect to hear it in the near future. The Michigan native is set to embark on The Exhibition Tour in September, so it seems likely the album will drop in the fall.
