Crystal Caines Shows Out for New Song “Bossanova”
Crystal Caines drops her new single, “Bossanova,” off her upcoming EP, Vertigo. The Harlem native, known mainly because of her production and engineering work for big names such as A$AP Ferg, Bia and Smoke DZA, to name a few, is starting to make a name for herself as an artist. "Bossanova" is a great example of Caines' potential.
"I get this shit from my folks/I made it rain get a boat/VVS is 'round the throat/Dipped in all blue like a Loc/Took the squad to Bossanova/Melrose in a Rover/Why you sign me? It's over/Giving doubters cold shoulders," she raps.
There isn't a release date yet for Vertigo, but the EP should be dropping sometime this summer. Crystal Caines previously released solid records like “No Drama” and “Run With Me" featuring A$AP Ferg.
In 2014, Crystal released her debut single, “Whiteline,” featuring A$AP Ferg, and in that same year, she teamed up with the Harlem rapper again, to produce a few tracks off of his Ferg Forever mixtape. The budding spitta has collaboration credits on tracks that include Nick Jonas, M.I.A., Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Baauer, Souldiggaz, Nottz and more.
