Conway and Westside Gunn Join Alchemist for New Song “A Thousand Birds”

With The Good Book Vol. 2 dropping on July 21, The Alchemist shares "A Thousand Birds" featuring Buffalo's finest Conway and Westside Gunn. Over smooth instrumentals, the brothers each grab a verse and go off. "My magazine on fleek/60 inch rims lift em off his feet/My hightops got red soles," Westside raps.

Alchemist previously released "Brother Jedidiah" featuring Action Bronson and Big Body Bes. The two records are part of the six singles to be released on 45” vinyl off The Good Book Vol. 2, a collaborative project with Budgie.

The Good Book’s second installment features Mobb Deep, Evidence, Meyhem Lauren, Action Bronson, Your Old Droog, Royce 5'9" and more. It is a limited edition 45 track double CD, released in the form of an actual book, with the producers using entirely religious-themed samples. It will be limited to 2000 pieces.

Alc has been a busy man this year. Back in March he released the fourth installment of his instrumental series Rapper’s Best Friend. He also linked with Jay Worthy to release a collaborative EP Fantasy Island.
