Chrisette Michele and Rick Ross reunite on the singers lead single, "Equal," off her upcoming album, Milestone. Chrisette and Rozay are a fantastic combo. On "Equal" Michele checks her man and sings that she's just as "fire" as he is ("I'm equal, I'm half of you/That ego don't look good on you/I normally don't talk like this, I'll let you leave/You usually walk beside me, not in front of me." )As smooth as ever, Yung Renzel comes through and apologizes for mistreating his woman and even reference their last single "Aston Martin Music."

"I been in love with you for six years/Since Aston Martin Music/Drizzy came behind you on that smooth shit/So iconic with the wordplay/It's ironic I'm in first place," he raps.

The two artists, along with Drake, worked on "Aston Martin Music" in 2010. The song was a huge hit, peaking at No. 30 on Billboard Hot 100. However, things turned sour between Chrisette Michele and Rick Ross after the 2010 Soul Train Awards. They were supposed to perform the single at the award ceremony but Ross left the venue. Chrisette called out Ross on her blog after he lost the “Best Hip-Hop Song” category to Eminem and was scene storming out of the awards shortly after. She wrote, “Who stands off at an award show because they don’t win? An award is winning at being as 'stuck in a category' as possible.” Rozay later denounced the notion that he left the show because he lost the award and responded to Chrisette's comments by calling her choice of words "ugly."

It's exciting to see that they have reconciled there differences and are back to making hit records. Bump "equal" below.
