With a lovably feisty personality and a platinum-selling, No. 1 single in tow ("Bodak Yellow"), Cardi B finds herself on the precipice of flat-out superstardom. With that in mind, it's no surprise she's taking no chances when it comes to making sure her debut album is as good as it can be. She said as much in a tweet from this past weekend.

Speaking on her debut, Bardi acknowledged the mounting impetus to succeed at the highest level. "I have a lot of pressure on me," she wrote. "I have songs stashed up. I just don’t think they qualified for my album. Sometimes i think is ready sometimes i think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right," she wrote.

This isn't the first time Cardi's spoken about the pressure to perfect her first album. In a September appearance on The Breakfast Club, the Bronx rapper said she was having trouble picking out the right 10 songs for the project while also trying to match the success of "Bodak Yellow."

“I wanted to drop next month,” she explained at the time. “Every single time I think I got all the 10 songs I’m like, I’m buggin. These ain’t it. It’s just like, damn I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record [on the Billboard Hot 100] and stuff.”

In another tweet from this past weekend, Bardi responded to a fan asking if she'd be down to have a private listening party for fans. "I was thinking on doing that in December but that’s really hard i got a lot of dope asss fans.Hard to pick," she wrote.
