Boogie Breaks Away From His Girl on New Song “Two Days”

Boogie is preparing to drop his new project Thirst 48 Part II on Oct. 14. Today, the Compton MC unleashes a new track called "Two Days."

Over the Swiff D-produced instrumental, Boogie raps "You say you love me then turn around and say fuck me/I ain't seen you like in two days. Loving that dog filter but hating when I say bitch/I see you unfollowed me, got your ratio popping/You know I've been lurking, you've been erasing my comments."

Thirst 48 Part II boasts features from K Camp, Sacramento’s Mozzy and Compton vet DJ Quik. Producers on the new project include Swiff D, C. Ballin and Boogie’s long time collaborator Keyel. Keyel handled a majority of production on Boog’s 2015 tape The Reach. You can view the full Thirst 48 Part II tracklist below.

When XXL chopped it up with Boogie back in 2015, he discussed how he wants his music to have an important purpose. “My goal is to live my message out. I want to better my mentality of the youth and the people older than me. Not saying my mentality is the right mentality; I feel my message can help a lot of people as far as the cycle of gang bangin’ in a generation where it seems like we glorify it. I’m from it. I’m from the heart of gang bangin’. I don’t feel like I glorify it, I just tell my story.”
