The Bronx's Axel Leon is back, dropping his new single "Real Life," off his just released Juicus Christ album.

The song, which is produced by NaviBeats, finds Axel rapping about the moves he makes in real life rather than pretending to be something else. “I’m a street nigga just trying to get my fans excited about this music I’m making and this track has that vibe,” he says through email.

The Bronx is having a big resurgence in hip-hop right now with artists such as Cardi B, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more making noise. Axel Leon is continuing the trend and looks to be here for the long haul.

Juicus Christ is a 12-track album that features no guest appearances. The album is produced by NaviBeats. “There ain’t nothing to it but honesty," Axel says. "This shit is up to the people to feel the vibes and understand where I came from. I’m using the talent God gave me to show y’all what it feels like for someone who’s been through what I’ve been through to get out these streets.”

Earlier this year, XXL spoke to Leon about his music and his aspirations to be better than JAY-Z and Eminem.
