Back in September, A$AP Rocky was sued by a New York City landlord who claimed the rapper damaged an apartment before moving out in August. The landlord was seeking $100,000 after Rocky failed to undo the changes he made to the space, which included turning a custom walk-in wardrobe into a recording room, removing a custom chandelier and security camera and causing unspecified damage to a bathroom. Now, TMZ is reporting that Rocky has countersued the landlord, claiming he was negligent in maintaining the building.

According to the suit, during Rocky's stay at the Soho apartment, two floods occurred in the unit, causing Rocky to rent another spot for a month. What's more, Rocky maintains that the changes he made to the apartment increased its value, and is suing for his $40,000 security deposit plus damages.

Earlier this year, Tyga had some landlord troubles of his own, settling in court after he was sued for failing to pay rent or cover the damages made to a Malibu house. The settlement helped Tyga avoid any jail time relating to the matter.

Musically speaking, Rocky and the entire A$AP Mob just released their Cozy Tapes: Vol 1 album, which features Tyler, The Creator, Skepta, Lil Yachty, Madeintyo, Offset, Yung Gleesh, Wiz Khalifa, Onyx and more. Rocky as well made a musical return as a guest on Alicia Keys' "Blended Family," off her recently released album Here.
