6ix9ine’s Video Shoot With Kanye West and Nicki Minaj Interrupted by Gunfire
The video shoot for 6ix9ine's new collaboration with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj gets interrupted by gunfire. According to TMZ, Tekashi and Yeezy were prepping for a video shoot in an $80 million Beverly Hills mansion before a shooter, or shooters, fired gunshots into the spot late last night (Nov. 8).
Someone from the video set told the celebrity news site that eight shots were fired during the shooting, but no one was hit. Apparently, everyone stopped filming for the video after the shooting transpired.
The celebrity news site reports that Tekashi and Kanye were in the mansion at the time of the drive-by shooting, but Nicki Minaj was not.
Hours after the shooting took place, Kanye jumped onto Twitter to give fans an update on his condition. "Thank you for everyone’s prayers. Our family is safe and close," he wrote.
Earlier today, 50 Cent responded to reports of 6ix9ine's video set shooting with some humor. Hopping onto Instagram, Fif uploaded what appears to be a photo from the mansion. In the photo, we can see that a window has been shot.
"♂️now somebody done shot my son video up in LA. Kanye was like ♂️ #positivevibes," wrote 50, referring to Tekashi (someone he's been cool with for a while now) and Yeezy.
This news arrives a couple months after Kanye and 6ix9ine were spotted in the studio together. It looks like that's now been confirmed. Tekashi had previously collaborated with Nicki on their Murda Beatz-produced hit single, "Fefe."
