6ix9ine Hires Former Members of Floyd Mayweather’s Security Team for Protection
After getting in some sticky situations over the last few months, 6ix9ine has reportedly considerably beefed up his security detail.
The Brooklyn rapper has had a couple of new faces following him around recently. According to a TMZ report posted on Tuesday (Oct 23), the rapper has hired a couple of former bodyguards of boxing great Floyd Mayweather to help watch his back.
A video surfaced a few days ago of the rapper leaving a Houston court room. He is flanked by a few hulking human beings, two of whom are Big Church (tallest man in video) and Big Adam (leather jacket). According to the report, Tekashi decided to bring them onboard after the incident in Moscow when he was rushed onstage.
In retrospect, their presence might have been valuable when the "Gummo" rapper was pistol-whipped and robbed back in July. In that incident, according to the rapper, he was forced out of a car by two gunmen who then put him in their car and drove to the rapper's Brooklyn home. There, they took cash and jewels. It might be a smart idea to have security around at all times considering the multiple enemies 6ix has made in his brief career.
In other 6ix9ine-related news, the rapper recently spent the day with an 8-year-old fan who is fighting brain cancer. "WE HAD SO MUCH FUN IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY THANK YOU TATI FOR ALLOWING ME TO SPEND THIS DAY WITH YOU," he wrote underneath a video of the two.
