6ix9ine's team has now confirmed the postponement of the embattled rapper's Dummy Boy album. They released the following statement via his Instagram page. Following his arrest for firearms and racketeering charges on Sunday (Nov. 18), 6ix9ine's Dummy Boy album is being pushed back. According to Tekashi collaborator Nicki Minaj, who provided an unfortunate update about the LP today, the album, which was set to debut on Friday (Nov. 23), is delayed for reasons "beyond music."

"For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now," Nicki writes in an Instagram post with 6ix9ine's album cover. "Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time," Nicki continued, referring to 6ix9ine's government name Daniel Hernandez.

Minaj is one of the many features listed on Dummy Boy including Lil Baby, Kanye West, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, Trife Drew and more. The LP had generated a lot of buzz, but now 6ix9ine is obviously dealing with some massive legal issues.

The "FeFe" rapper, he is currently facing up to 32 years in prison after being arrested on Federal charges Sunday. He's since been placed in a general population at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Tekashi's legal situation doesn't look too hopeful at the moment, but the rapper's attorney, Lance Lazarro, believes the rapper will be vindicated in the court of law.

"I believe that the charges against him is an over-charge by the U.S. Attorney's Office and that when the facts come out I am confident that the charges will be dismissed as it relates to Daniel Hernandez Tekashi 6ix9ine," Lazzaro said while speaking to XXL yesterday.
