50 Cent announces the release month for his forthcoming album, Street King Immortal. While walking the red carpet last night for the premiere of the second season of his Starz TV show Power, Fif announced that SKI would be dropping in September.

"It's the music. Music is my first love," 50 said when asked what he enjoyed most out of rapping, acting and running his various businesses. "Without the music, I wouldn't be able to do any of the business things that you see me doing and I wouldn't have been bitten by the bug." He then casually goes on to announce the upcoming project.

The LP was originally supposed to come out back in the summer of 2011, but was delayed repeatedly and ultimately put on the back burner in favor of his last album Animal Ambition and last June's G-Unit reunion, which produced two excellent EPs. But now after much anticipation, 50 confirms that his sixth studio album will finally hit the shelves this fall. (Though we've heard this before; Street King's previous release date was announced as September 2014.) We've already gotten a taste of what's to come with the release of his latest single, "Get Low," featuring Jeremih, 2 Chainz and T.I.
