21 Savage and Metro Boomin Might Be Dropping ‘Savage Mode 2′

21 Savage is on the new cover of Fader, and in the piece it's revealed that 21 and Metro Boomin have another 20-30 additional songs recorded that didn't make their fantastic Savage Mode album. In fact, those songs might become Savage Mode 2. We'll have to wait and see.

21 has also recorded a bunch of songs with another Atlanta stalwart Southside, which may also be its own separate project. He's also done recent features for Fetty Wap and Jeremih, though those songs haven't yet been released.

He also talks about potentially signing a deal in the piece, saying he might get a distribution deal for his Slaughter Gang crew. He's wary of sticking to the regional show circuit, however: “I can go in the building, shake white people’s hands, and get ‘em to give me millions of dollars.”

The 24-year-old 2016 XXL Freshman has been enjoying fantastic success this year following the release of Savage Mode. He had three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 recently and was featured on songs by rivals Drake ("Sneakin") and Meek Mill ("Offended"), showcasing how universally loved he is.
