21 Savage has a new mixtape on the way, but decided to do a little flexing before its release with a freestyle called "21 Way." The track sees 21 Savage in his measured tone rhyming over an eerie production.

"Hotbox with a paper tag on it/Your baby brother user to be my crash dummy/Don't call my phone if it ain't bout cash money/I don't wanna talk it ain't bout cash money/I got a lot of shooters round me and they hungry/He sold a zip and now he acting like he Tony/I be chasing after money like I'm homeless/I had to leave that bitch alone cause she was bogus," 21 Savage raps.

The Atlanta rapper sees his rise in the rap game as being necessary. 21 Savage previously told XXL that he's bringing back street music in the city's hip-hop scene.

"My voice is needed," 21 Savage said. "If it weren’t for my voice, n—as wouldn’t even know n—as shoot in Atlanta. N—as would think everybody wears Giuseppe’s and buy Versace. N—as would think everybody got money in Atlanta. There’s n—as fucked up in Atlanta. It’s a lot of poverty, it’s n—as struggling, it’s n—as hustling, it’s n—as robbing and n—as killing in Atlanta. It ain’t all money and drugs like the picture is painted. It’s a lot of gangsta shit going on in Atlanta. We’re going to bring that back, every aspect of everything. I salute everybody coming out of Atlanta because they keep the light on Atlanta. But I’m going to bring that young n—a feeling back."

Look out for 21 Savage's Savage Mode mixtape, which is set to drop later this month. The project is being executive produced by Metro Boomin.
