Earlier this year, Statik Selektah announced he'd signed a management deal with Roc Nation ahead of the release of his new album 8. Now, we're getting the first taste of that LP with the lead single "Man of the Hour" featuring 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa. Bump it below.

You might think there's a sample or two on the track, but Statik actually enlisted a bunch of sessions musicians to play instruments on the track. Cas Weinbren is on the keys, Brady Watt is on the bass and Utril Rhaburn is playing that beautiful sax. Tawatha Agee & Francesca Guzman also provide additional vocals.

The song might also spark your taste buds for a potential full-length project between Tity Boi and the New York producer. “Me and him have a project that’s dropping really soon,” Statik said of 2 Chainz back in May. “He’s been killing features and his own records for a long time. When you hear these records, it’s just so different. No one has ever done what he did with this project. First of all, he’s rapping like he’s from Brooklyn. It’s just very New York. Basically, a down South guy made a New York album, so I’m excited for that.”
