Oversized fur coats have been the trend of winter 2015 among rappers residing or visiting the cold North East region. While long exaggerated fur coats have always had a place in hip-hop, the last few years saw a decline in the trend.

This winter rappers decided to bring back the chinchillas and the minks to match with their apparel and footwear. The trend reached its peak during All-Star Weekend in New York City, when it appeared that every rapper was covered in fur from head-to-toe. Some even took the mink obsession to another level by rocking a matching fur top with their coat. Needless to say, rappers proved that minks are an essential part of an hip-hoop artists wardrobe during the winter.

With the spring kicking in in a matter of a few weeks, we'll start seeing your favorite rappers trade their long oversized minks in for windbreakers and lighter apparel. In the meantime, here are 12 rappers that have been seen sporting the mink coats this winter.

I gotta learn how 2 fix my face for pictures lol
