YoungBoy Never Broke Again is dropping a new mixtape this week, and no, it's not Broken Hearted or 38 Baby 2. On Wednesday morning (Oct. 4), the rising Baton Rouge, La. rapper uploaded an Instagram post revealing that his newest project will be called Ain't Too Long and is set to drop this Saturday (Oct. 7).

"'Ain’t too long' drop Saturday #8songs," he wrote in the caption for the post, which includes a cover for the project. The cover features an image of NBA YoungBoy holding up his son. He says the project will contain eight tracks. Atlantic Records tells XXL the project will not be released through the label.

This announcement arrives a couple of weeks after YoungBoy unveiled his video for "Confidential," which is apparently off Broken Hearted. The thing is, that was supposed to drop on Sept. 20, but the date came and went and we never heard a reason why. Now, after not posting anything on his Instagram account for a bit, he's announced Ain't Too Long. Is that project separate from Broken Hearted, or has the latter been canceled? There's no way to know for sure.

There's a chance YoungBoy's just been busy and has decided to put out Broken Hearted at another time. He is, after all, about to head on tour with 21 Savage. Check out those tour dates for their trek below. Peep NBA YoungBoy's Instagram post announcing the release date for Ain't Too Long beneath that.
