Dallas, Texas rapper Yella Beezy is recovering after being wounded in a drive-by shooting in Lewisville, Texas on Sunday morning (Oct. 14).
The shooting occurred on the Sam Rayburn Tollway around 3:30 a.m., reports the Dallas News. Beezy, born Deandre Conway, was reportedly driving on the tollway when another vehicle pulled alongside his and started letting off shots. Over a dozen rounds were fired, according to police. The news has been verified by Beezy's team, who have notified XXL that the rapper is in stable condition.
It is unclear whether or not this is a road rage incident, but news of the shooting has the internet speculating that it could have something to do with a beef with comedian Roylee Pate, who died due to a blood clot after being shot earlier this month.
