XXLMag.com has learned that Waka Flocka Flame’s first headlining concert in New York City has been cancelled.

As previously reported, Waka was set to perform at B.B. King Blues Club in Manhattan on March 23 but a spokesperson for the club informed XXL that the show was taken off the schedule. As of press time it is uncertain why the show was called off.

In related Flocka news, the 1017 Brick Squad affiliate’s nude “Ink Not Mink” PETA ad was revealed today (March 8). XXLMag.com broke the news last month that the Atlanta bred rapper was tapped for the new campaign and he gave us his reasoning behind backing the cause.

“Animals should be treated the same as you would a kid,” Flame told XXL back in February. “Would you want someone just to walk up and skin your kid? Hell no!”
