Vintage tees are continue to make an impact in hip-hop this year with some of the game's most respected veteran MCs getting some love. From fans to rap newcomers, the trend of rocking vintage old school rap and rock-inspired T-shirts has taken over in 2016. Now, since the breezy weather of the fall is kicking in, those who were late to show love to their favorite rapper still have a chance to represent before the tees get replaced by hoodies and crewneck sweaters.

Rappers like 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Big Pun and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are just a few who have received the throwback treatment through the vintage tee movement. Plenty of clothing brands and labels have embraced the look, creating some of the best tees in the game.

While many vintage tees feature major artists from the late 1980s and 1990s, a handful of today’s top rappers have become influenced by the trend and have created vintage merch and tour tees themed and inspired after classic rap albums and tour merch.

The trend of vintage-looking rap tees may be over soon, but there's still time to rock the look. XXL rounds up six of the best rap tees available right now for purchase online and select retail stores.
