Early this morning, it was announced that Tyga will be investing $5 million in Shine Papers, a company that makes rolling papers made of 24-karat gold. Tyga will become the creative director for the company, whose $4.60 per single leaf papers are sold at tobacco shops and online. In a statement made by the rapper, Tyga described the papers as a "premium experience," comparable to ordering expensive bottles of alcohol. "Why burn regular paper when you can burn 24-karat gold?" said the Cali-bred rapper.

Though the company says that they don't only brand themselves as a company that caters strictly to marijuana smokers, Tyga is likely banking on the growing legalization of marijuana across the United States. Colorado and Washington have already legalized recreational use and possession, while Oregon, Alaska, and Washington D.C. passed legislation last month to legalize recreational marijuana use and possession.
