Top 5 Sneakers Coming Out This Weekend
Another weekend of dope sneaker releases is upon us and brands like Nike, Jordan Brand and adidas, have put together some great releases for sneakerheads to rejoice this weekend.
To kick of out weekly top five, we start off with two silhouettes from the Swoosh brand. Taking it back to the '90s, Nike will rerelease the classic Air Max 90 in the OG colorway of "Infrared." The shoe will feature a mesh, suede and leather canvas and will include hits of grey, black and white throughout the sneaker. Another weekend drop for Nike will be the Nike SB "De La Soul" Low Top in a brown/green/yellow colorway. The shoe pays homage to De La Soul's 1991 album release, "De La Soul Is Dead" and is a recreation of the 2005 high top sneaker release.
Not one to fall behind, Jordan Brand will also have two coveted silhouettes dropping this Saturday. The first will be the Air Jordan 7 "Hare," which is a silhouette that was made popular during the early '90s with Michael Jordan appearing in ad campaigns alongside Bug Bunny and friends. The rerelease of the shoes, should be instant sell-out among sneakerheads. Jordan Brand will also release the Jordan Spizike in a "Turquoise Blue/Infrared" colorway. The sneaker, will feature elephant print on the toe front and heel, while hits of black will be printed along the tongue, side panel and midsole.
Closing out our top five kicks of the weekend is the collaboration release between adidas and London skate retailer Palace Skateboards. The sneaker will include a Primeknit iteration with modern skate technology and a ZX Flux heel counter.
