Last night, after George Zimmerman was found not guilty on murder and manslaughter charges in the killing of Trayvon Martin, many people, including those in the hip-hop community took to the Internet to express their thoughts on the outcome. Many were distraught. Some wanted street vengeance to be carried out. But others say Zimmermans’s self torment may be enough. Days before the verdict was rendered, RevoltTV sat down with Timbaland, and the super producer gave his thoughts on the situation. Without taking sides, the VA beat maker offered up a somewhat spiritual explanation and added that it’s not out of the question that Zimmerman might take his own life dealing with inner demons.

“Don’t take it the wrong way, but, has anyone talked to God about this?,” Tim questioned. “You never know why that boy was walking and why did that happened. You gotta ask God why did he let that happen?” He continued, “It’s kinda deep for me. I think on a religious way. I don’t know if I just want to know. To me I always say God will deal with you. That’s how I look at it…It can come in any types of form. It could be your death outside. It could be your family member’s death. You don’t know what. It’s the weirdest thing, man. I just pray for that family because I don’t know."

Tim also added that he believes the anguish Zimmerman probably feels knowing he murdered an unarmed child might drive him to a bad mental state or worse. "[Zimmerman] is screwed. Mentally he is not going to be right ever in his life,” said Tim showing some sympathy for Trayvon’s murderer. “You know how many times he probably wakes up like, ‘I messed up. Oh, I really messed up.’ And probably cry. It wont be probably too long before we hear he took his life. You will probably read about it.”
