The Game Apologizes to Nicki Minaj for Dragging Her Into Meek Mill Beef
In case you missed it, six days ago, The Game posted an old, shirtless photo of him beside Nicki Minaj, which no doubt must've annoyed Meek. You can view that picture below via Game's official IG account.
On The Breakfast Club, Game addresses the situation, saying, "Nicki should just stay out of it. She's in her lane. She's doing her thing, she's an amazing artist. I've got love and respect for her. I'm sorry I had to drag her into this, and it was a minimal drag, but she wasn't disrespected at all. I went and I did what I had to do. It looked like a photo shoot or a video shoot, it don't look like us in a hotel room."
You can watch the whole interview above via YouTube. If you recall, The Game hopped onstage in Miami last weekend and said he wanted to fight Meek Mill. While at the time it was unclear as to why Game wanted to fight the Philly spitter, the West Coast MC later revealed that Meek allegedly snitched on him for having involvement in a robbery involving Sean Kingston’s jewelry in Los Angeles this past June.
With both rappers later trading shots at each other on Instagram and releasing respective diss records—Meek’s “OOOUUU” and Game’s “Pest Control” — the beef has yet to simmer down. Game took another jab at Meek Mill last night by performing his diss record “Pest Control” and saying, “Fuck Meek Mill,” during a concert in Reading, Pa. Afterwards, Game drove to Philadelphia and shared a video on social media showing that he was in Meek’s hometown while driving around listening to Beanie Sigel.
