Terrace Martin is one of the best artists in music right now. The multi-talented musician from the West Coast takes a crack at Future's "Mask Off" and it's fantastic.

Martin recreates the flute line from Tommy Butler's "Prison Song" sample off the Metro Boomin and Southside-produced single. Adding his own flair to the gold certified single, Terrace Martin is able to infused jazz with the trap record and make the song his own. It's truly remarkable to listen to.

For the past few weeks, Future's "Mask Off" has been a viral hit. Since the release of the track off Future's self-titled album earlier this year, its popularity has skyrocketed. The "Mask Off” Challenge became the latest social media trend that rap fans took a part in and it put a spotlight on amazing young Black musicians. For the Atlanta rapper, "Mask Off" became the biggest song of his career so far, landing at the No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Dave East also tackled the “Mask Off” beat for a brand new Eastmix and a number of rappers, most recently Joey Bada$$, freestyled over the instrumental.

If you haven't already heard Terrace's last album, Velvet Portraits, which was released in 2016, do so as soon as possible. Terrace Martin also recently lent his talents to frequent collaborator Kendrick Lamar for the Compton native's upcoming album DAMN.
