T.I. is coming clean about his drug addiction.

The recently-freed rapper told Billboard.com that Eminem helped him with his own drug addiction, which started off with medication for oral surgery.

“I haven’t had a chance to speak to Em since I’ve been home," Tip said. "I heard that while I was down, he was trying to get in contact with me, but I don’t know if the dots just didn’t connect. [Eminem] overcoming his own adversities, winning the battle against his own demons and continuing to break the mold and re-set the standard of what it means to be the most successful hip-hop artist in the game … I salute that to no end.”

"I love what he's doing with Slaughterhouse and I love the move he made to sign Yelawolf and the record with him and Royce the 5'9,"" T.I. went on to compliment Em on his latest business moves. "And he killed the thing for the BET awards, the cipher, he killed that shit.. I just haven't had the chance to pick up the phone and get to him personally, but, it's coming."

Just last year, while promoting his latest album, aptly-titled Recovery, Eminem talked to the media in detail about his prescription drug addiction. T.I.'s latest arrest was for drug charges after he and his wife Tiny were caught in Los Angeles with ecstasy. T.I., who also tested positive for opiates at the time, was in violation of the terms of his probation for his 2007 arrest after getting caught purchasing multiple weapons and silencers.
