T.I.'s acting resume is going to extend to superhero blockbusters in 2015. The Atlanta rapper has joined the cast of Ant-Man, which is one of two Marvel films scheduled to hit theaters next year, according to The Hollywood ReporterHe joins a cast that includes Paul Rudd (Role ModelsAnchorman), Michael Douglas (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and John Slattery (Mad Men).

Since this is a Marvel release, Ant-Man is probably going to be the highest-grossing film of T.I's career. His most well-known includes Stevie Lucas in the Denzel Washington-featuring American Gangster and his film debut in 2006's ATL, where he played the lead role.

Fans will have have to wait until July 17, 2015 to see his performance, however. T.I.'s upcoming album, Paperwork, is expected to drop before then.
