Last night, T.I. was courtside at the Hawks’ Phillips Arena for the Eastern Conference contest with the Miami Heat. But instead of taking in the game, he had a job to take care of. The “Ball” rapper gave courtside commentary during the game, something he said he was more than willing to do. “It’s an awesome experience,” he said. “I’m ecstatic about having the opportunity to come out here and give the play-by-play on a victory.” Jointing veteran commentators Duane Ferrell and Bob Rathbun, Tip offered the Atlanta accented call for the first half. Despite the Kang’s presence, the hometown Hawks lost a close contest with the Dwyane Wade-less Heat, 89-95.
