Not only will Suge Knight be the subject of a full-feature documentary on Showtime, but the former Death Row Records founder will also produce the soundtrack for the film, The New York Times reports.

The filmmakers, which include “Training Day” and “Brooklyn’s Finest” director Antoine Fuqua, told The Times that Knight has agreed to give extensive interviews about his life in addition to producing the soundtrack.

Knight was infamously sitting next to Tupac Shakur, when the rapper was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996. Ten years later, the imposing Knight filed for bankruptcy after a judge awarded the wife of a former investor of Death Row a $107 million judgment.

As of press time, no release date has been announced for the documentary. —Jakinder Singh
